Hi, my name is Imogen and this is a blog about the Rollercoaster Ride I am on. 

The Rollercoaster is called Melanoma. It isn’t like any Rollercoaster I have been on before – there are loops to climb through, twists & turns….it seems to go very fast…..but I can’t get off this Rollercoaster.

I started this blog in September 2013 about 3 months after Diagnosis and the first of what I now believe will be many surgeries to come.

I started the blog because everything was happening so fast  and whilst I have been keeping a personal journal, I have found it hard to ensure that I have kept everyone else around me up to date with each step, and be a Mummy to my amazing children, and work, and research & battle with the system at the same time.

My research has opened my eyes.

Like many people I had no idea what Melanoma meant.

I hope that this blog helps to keep my loved ones up to date with what is happening for me & that it also helps to raise awareness about Melanoma & Skin Cancer in general.
